Description

Manage and automate infrastructure and distributed systems within an Agile team. Own the release pipeline, monitoring, and configuration management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS or VMWare.
• Deploy and maintain distributed systems including Kafka, Storm, and ElasticSearch.
• Drive operational excellence through tool development, monitoring, logging, and automation.
• Implement configuration management using Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
• Maintain system visibility through tools like Logstash, Nagios, or Ganglia.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or VMWare.
• Experience deploying distributed systems like Kafka, Storm, or ElasticSearch.
• Proficiency with infrastructure configuration management (Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack).
• Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Logstash, ElasticSearch, Nagios, or Ganglia).
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem.
