Description

Design and manage highly available, scalable systems across Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud-native data and messaging solutions using BigQuery, Redshift, Pub/Sub, SNS, and SQS.
• Implement serverless architectures with Cloud Functions and Lambda.
• Develop data processing pipelines using Dataflow, Glue, or Kinesis.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes across GKE, EKS, and AKS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
• Strong multi-cloud expertise in GCP (GCE, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM) and AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or Java.
• Implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cost optimization strategies.
