Description

You will design, implement, and maintain Wintel-based physical and virtual server infrastructure while managing cloud environments and containerized platforms. You will ensure high availability by implementing monitoring tools, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and maintaining disaster recovery plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy applications, adhere to change management processes, and provide production support including off-hours coverage.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Wintel-based physical and virtual server infrastructure.
• Manage and support cloud environments and containerized platforms, specifically Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring tools and alerts to ensure high availability and system uptime.
• Maintain and test disaster recovery plans and create infrastructure documentation.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application-related issues with vendors and internal teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or DevOps engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware.
• Proficiency in Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as AKS and ARO.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and SFTP.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.

Preferred Skills

• DevOps certification in Azure and/or AWS.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes or incident management frameworks.
• Experience creating technical diagrams using tools such as MS Visio.
