Description

You will manage and scale cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines within an Agile environment in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring, metrics, and cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Drive automation efforts using Infrastructure as Code to reduce manual tasks.
• Implement best practices for software build, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex systems and applications.
• Maintain and run large-scale web applications and microservices.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with AWS cloud components including VPC, S3, and Route 53.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD platforms like Jenkins and version control with Git.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Practical knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Scripting expertise in Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Networking knowledge covering DNS, TCP/IP, and Load Balancing.
• Database administration experience with Oracle, MySQL, or Neo4J.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, or Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with storage fundamentals including RAID, DAS, SAN, and NAS.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database management.
