Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Wintel-based physical and virtual server infrastructure

Monitor system performance and optimize server and storage utilization

Manage and support cloud environments and containerized platforms (Kubernetes)

Ensure adherence to change management processes and best practices

Maintain and test disaster recovery (DR) plans and documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy applications and resolve technical issues

Develop architecture diagrams and infrastructure documentation

Implement monitoring tools and alerts to ensure high availability and system uptime

Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application-related issues

Work with vendors and internal teams for incident resolution and escalation

Provide support for production systems, including off-hours when required

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in systems administration or DevOps engineering

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)

Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware and others)

Experience managing high-availability and enterprise infrastructure environments

Proficiency in Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux/Unix systems

Experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS, ARO)

Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SFTP)

Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools

Experience with security tools, authentication systems, and access management

Preferred Qualifications

DevOps certification in Azure and/or AWS

Experience with enterprise storage systems and infrastructure planning

Familiarity with ITIL processes or incident management frameworks

Experience creating technical diagrams using tools such as MS Visio
