Description

You will design, implement, and maintain Wintel-based physical and virtual server infrastructure while managing cloud environments and containerized platforms. This role ensures high availability, optimizes system performance, and supports production systems through rigorous monitoring and incident resolution.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Wintel server infrastructure, including virtualization with VMware and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Manage Kubernetes environments (AKS, ARO) and ensure adherence to change management processes.
• Implement monitoring tools, alerts, and disaster recovery plans to guarantee system uptime and availability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams for resolution.
• Create architecture diagrams and infrastructure documentation using tools such as MS Visio.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or DevOps engineering.
• Proficiency in Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux/Unix systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and Python.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and SFTP.
• Experience with enterprise storage systems and high-availability infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security tools, authentication systems, and access management.

Preferred Skills

• DevOps certification in Azure and/or AWS.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes or incident management frameworks.
