Description

You own production support, automation, and reliability for highly available application environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot advanced production issues and provide on-call support for high-priority incidents.
• Automate administrative, operational, and release management tasks to improve reliability.
• Install, configure, and maintain custom and packaged applications in production.
• Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system stability.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and data standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of DevOps experience supporting complex, highly available production applications.
• Strong Linux OS administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Chef.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools: Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Sumo Logic, or Prometheus.
• Experience with CI/CD and release management tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a 24/7 rotating shift environment.
• Strong root cause analysis and communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and vendors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting production environments with a focus on security and automation.
• Consulting or customer-facing support experience.
