Description

You will automate infrastructure and deployment processes within Azure to support microservice architectures and middleware applications.

Responsibilities

• Build Azure DevOps pipelines to script repeatable configuration management, build, and deployment tasks.
• Design Azure service implementations that translate project requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure.
• Automate middleware infrastructure using an end-to-end approach covering capacity, quality, release, and production monitoring.
• Instrument application performance monitoring, capacity management, alerting, and KPI metrics.
• Execute hardware and software upgrades, patching, migrations, and hot fixes across multiple environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, including README files and project status pages for release handovers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Automation engineer.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps pipelines and DevOps agent tasks.
• Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and Azure App Services.
• Knowledge of Azure API Management, Azure Key Vault, and Azure App Config.
• Experience managing microservice architectures and containerized applications.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Ability to assess and trade off technical solutions against cost.
• Experience with hardware and software impact assessments.
