Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) and GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) environments.
• Design, implement, and manage GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, and enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and maintain self-hosted runners, autoscaling, and secure execution environments.
• Create and manage GitHub Apps, repositories, organizations, permissions, and enterprise governance.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for Java, Node.js, and Python applications (experience with .NET and Go is a plus).
• Implement GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) features including Code Scanning, Secret Scanning, and Dependabot.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, GitHub CLI, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, monitor resources, and optimize cluster performance.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to implement DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
• Support GHES upgrades, disaster recovery, replication, monitoring, and platform optimization.

Required Skills

• 10 years of IT experience with 6+ years of GitHub Enterprise Administration.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) and GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC).
• Strong experience with GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, enterprise workflows, and self-hosted runners.
• Experience creating and managing GitHub Apps and enterprise-level GitHub administration.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python or Java for automation.
• Experience with Java, Node.js, and Python application builds and deployments (knowledge of .NET and Go is preferred).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS).
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Git, SCM, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, GitHub CLI, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, and kubectl.
• Experience administering Kubernetes clusters, monitoring workloads, and managing storage and namespaces.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (GitHub Cloud, GCP) and containerized environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GHES upgrade planning, disaster recovery, replication, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and enterprise DevOps security best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, automation, and communication skills
