Description

You will administer GitHub Enterprise Server and manage Kubernetes clusters for microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, autoscaling, and secure execution environments.
• Design and manage Kubernetes cluster layouts, resources, storage, and monitoring using kubectl, Rancher, and Helm.
• Create GitHub Apps at the enterprise level and implement standard reusable workflows.
• Administer, maintain, and monitor Kubernetes clusters and underlying hardware infrastructure.
• Plan GHES upgrades, disaster recovery, replication, and internal service optimizations.

Required Skills

• 12+ years total experience with at least 7+ years specifically in GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) administration.
• Deep expertise in GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and GitHub Enterprise Administration.
• Experience creating GitHub Apps and managing GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) tooling.
• Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters and containerization with Docker.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python or Java for automation tasks.
• Strong scripting, API integration, and automation skills using GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs and GitHub CLI.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dotNet and Go source code builds and deployments.
• Cloud expertise in GCP or GitHub Cloud.
