Description

Design and deploy highly available, auto-scaling WMS applications on AWS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy AWS infrastructure including EC2, Route53, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, and IAM.
• Manage Linux environments (RHEL), implementing auto-scaling and EBS volume storage expansion.
• Configure Route53 for multi-region traffic routing, failover, and latency-based options.
• Implement data protection strategies using S3 versioning, Glacier archiving, and SNS notifications.
• Automate server configuration with Puppet and manage build/deployment pipelines via Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, IAM, Route53, CloudFront.
• Strong Linux administration skills, specifically with RHEL.
• Experience with Puppet for server automation and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Jenkins for build and deployment management.
• Ability to develop automation test scripts using Python.
• Experience with GitHub private repositories.
• Hands-on monitoring experience using Data Dog and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of configuring security groups for EC2 (Windows and Linux) and Puppet agents.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing load balancers (ELB) and optimizing delivery via CloudFront.
