Description

Own the containerization and deployment lifecycle for vendor applications, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy containerized applications using Docker and OpenShift, maintaining scalability and maintainability standards.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Execute proof of concept (POC) initiatives to evaluate vendor tools, addressing system gaps and pain points.
• Enforce container security best practices, including DMZ configurations, firewall rules, and network segmentation.
• Document POC outcomes, evaluate results against success criteria, and recommend improvements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and OpenShift for container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and their integration with containerized applications.
• Proficiency in container security best practices and network segmentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
