Description

You will bridge the gap between software engineering and infrastructure automation by managing cloud-native applications and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and UCD Pipeline as Code.
• Integrate security scanning tools like Nexus and Sonar into the artifact repository pipeline.
• Configure and scale AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Amazon ECS.

Required Skills

• Professional experience in DevOps with a background in software engineering (Java or Python).
• Strong development skills in Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with GitLab and Jenkins for pipeline automation.
• Experience managing containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
• Experience with artifact repository integration and security scanning (Nexus, Sonar).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Competency in SQL and database management systems.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience transitioning from a Java or Python developer role to DevOps.
