DevOps Engineer based in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux/Unix environments and write Shell/Python scripts.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-native CI/CD workflows with tools like Concourse, Bamboo, or GitLab.
• Operate microservices and distributed architectures using containers and Kubernetes.
• Configure monitoring and log aggregation using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Elastic Search.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Shell and Python scripting.
• Expertise in Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Concourse, Bamboo, TeamCity, or GitLab.
• Strong background in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with log aggregation frameworks like Kafka, Logstash, Splunk, and Elastic Search.
• Domain experience in SD-WAN, Networking, and Cloud Management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
