Description

You will build and manage centralized orchestration services and DevOps platforms to deploy in-house and COTS products.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design resilient, fault-tolerant systems for managing cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation tools and services for deployment and operational activities.
• Incorporate security and compliance into the development lifecycle using a shift-left approach.
• Integrate testing and quality principles into the tool development SDLC.
• Optimize operations by automating alerting, monitoring, and incident response.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience, including design, development, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Proficiency in Python and either C# or Java.
• Experience with Git, including branching, merging, and GitFlow.
• Experience with DevOps platforms such as GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience with RDBMS (MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL, or Oracle) and NoSQL/Columnar stores (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or DynamoDB).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Rancher).
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Go, Ruby, PowerShell, or Bash.
