Description

Configure and deploy containerized applications while designing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy containerized vendor applications using Docker and OpenShift, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Utilize cloud platforms to enhance deployment and operational efficiency, integrating seamlessly with containerized environments.
• Conduct proof of concept (POC) initiatives to evaluate vendor tools, addressing system gaps and pain points.
• Document POC results, evaluate outcomes against success criteria, and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and OpenShift for container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and their integration with containerized applications.
• Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and automation tools.
• Knowledge of container security best practices, including DMZ configurations, firewall rules, and network segmentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience communicating with external vendors to gather requirements and implement solutions.
