Description

You will lead the migration of CI/CD pipelines and repositories from an acquired GitLab instance to a consolidated environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate approximately 300 pipelines and 700 repositories to a new GitLab instance while maintaining data integrity.
• Assess current CI/CD infrastructure to identify improvements and optimize pipelines for efficiency and security.
• Develop and execute migration plans that minimize disruption to active development workflows.
• Monitor performance and stability of the new GitLab instance, resolving issues during the transition.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and provide technical support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Deep expertise in GitLab features, including CI/CD pipelines, Artifact Registry, and Repository Management.
• Proven experience with GitLab migrations and project planning.
• Hands-on experience using Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong proficiency with GitLab security features and issue tracking.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
