Description

Design and maintain infrastructure as code, configuration management patterns, and automation pipelines to ensure system reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain configuration management patterns and infrastructure as code.
• Document infrastructure and application flow models based on requirements analysis.
• Implement changes to hardware and operating system infrastructure, including patches and kernel parameters.
• Analyze automation pipeline failures to tune processes and resolve errors.
• Diagnose hardware-related server problems and act as an escalation point for OS troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with modern application design patterns.
• Proficiency with Linux administration and command line scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and orchestration using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Understanding of security and encryption protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Coach and mentor staff on team policies, procedures, and technical patterns.
