Description

You will manage secure AWS infrastructure within a HIPAA-regulated environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision secure, fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure using EC2, RDS, and IAM.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Maintain system uptime and verify secure, compliant backups.
• Perform security audits and collaborate directly with auditors.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with tech and compliance teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, IAM).
• Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Direct experience working in HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with AWS security services such as GuardDuty or Security Hub.
• Knowledge of encryption implementations.
