Description

You will manage and optimize infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system observability within a regulated financial environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure in collaboration with development, operations, and security teams.
• Automate application deployment, scaling, and observability using GitOps and continuous deployment tools.
• Develop deployment pipelines, incident response protocols, and recovery plans alongside the SRE team.
• Maintain system performance, availability, and security through continuous optimization and on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience supporting Linux (RedHat) operating systems.
• 5-7 years of experience supporting IBM products including WebSphere, IHS, MQ, LDAP, and TSM.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
• Proficiency with observability and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, and CloudWatch.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in GitOps, Continuous Deployment tools, and Git practices (GitHub preferred).
• Experience with configuration management using Ansible and YAML.
• Background in security and compliance within the financial industry or other regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, specifically Problem, Change, Configuration, and Release Management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle products, including Oracle, OEM, and Golden Gate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
