You will own production readiness, ensuring application health, performance, and scalability across cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage application health and capacity through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
• Partner with development teams to establish monitoring, alerting strategies, and zero-downtime deployment frameworks.
• Build automation and tooling to reduce manual toil and solve complex business process problems.
• Perform incident response and blameless post-mortems to optimize time to recovery.
• Analyze platform activities to provide feedback loops to development teams regarding resiliency and operational gaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or operational roles.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Coding or scripting experience, specifically with Python.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Knowledge of client-server relationships and network concepts.
• Experience with stack trace analysis, including TCP dumps, heap dumps, and CPU/memory analysis.
• Ability to manage logging and monitoring workflows.
• Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
