Description

Manage, monitor, and deploy highly available, scalable applications within an Agile/Scrum environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design for projects of moderate complexity, making informed decisions on architectural tradeoffs.
• Manage and maintain the integrity of assigned environments and systems.
• Provide technical direction and recommendations to improve organizational workflows and procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical risks, requirements gaps, and system roadblocks.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with Elastic Search and Java.
• Proficiency with CI/CD toolsets such as Jenkins.
• Experience with Source Control Management tools like GitHub.
• Knowledge of provisioning tools including Chef, Puppet, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere, SQL, and Oracle.
