Description

Own the availability, scalability, and automation of large-scale Kubernetes platforms and AWS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer production Kubernetes clusters, hardening security via network policies and secrets management.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Flux, Jenkins, and GitLab with GitOps methodologies.
• Provision and manage AWS resources (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Configure observability with Prometheus and Grafana, defining SLIs/SLOs and managing error budgets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management.
• Solid experience with AWS core services: EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and GitOps workflows (FluxCD).
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes packaging tools (Helm, Kustomize).
• Experience with observability tooling including Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, platform, and application layers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting messaging and data platforms including Kafka, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• Ability to perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolve complex production issues.
