Description

You will manage infrastructure, automation, and data streaming pipelines to ensure system reliability and scalability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, including gatekeeping production deployments.
• Develop and implement Git branching strategies, branch protection rules, and network policies.
• Administer Kafka, including planning and executing Kafka migrations.
• Scale AWS resources to manage system load and resolve performance or scalability issues.
• Implement automation, monitoring, and alerting to minimize application downtime.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka administration and migrations.
• Proficiency in Python or Spark for programming and scripting.
• Experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience managing databases such as Vertica and Snowflake.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and rapid issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience proposing and leading system-wide architectural improvements.
