Description

You will own the automation, deployment, and reliability of e-commerce applications and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, builds, and deployments.
• Manage release workflows to ensure consistency and traceability across all environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks to improve scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure reliability issues.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline deployments on Shopify, custom APIs, and platforms like Netlify or Vercel.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and source control, specifically GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify development and deployment (themes, storefront APIs, custom apps).
• Experience with hosting platforms such as Netlify, Vercel, or JAMstack ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Next.js, React, Liquid, or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or JavaScript.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Knowledge of CDNs, DNS, and web performance optimization.
