Description

You will build and maintain the infrastructure supporting software engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Support software engineering applications using tools like GitHub Enterprise, Docker, Jenkins, Rancher, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Implement and manage environments using IaC tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Administer and monitor Linux and Windows systems, ensuring application uptime across three-tier architectures.
• Document operational standards, procedures, and environment diagrams using tools like OmniGraffle or Visio.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/EKS/Rancher.
• Familiarity with networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, and TLS/SSL.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL and SQL Server.
• Understanding of three-tier application architecture involving load balancers and application servers.
• Experience with source code version control, specifically Git.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration.
