Description

You will own the release pipeline and infrastructure automation for an EST-based client, working remotely on a contract basis.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts for system administration and automation tasks.
• Manage containerized applications and ensure Linux-based environment stability.
• Collaborate in Agile workflows and support flexible shift requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong proficiency in GitLab Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Expertise in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Deep knowledge of Linux commands, navigation, and system administration.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and YAML configuration.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy.
• Exposure to ServiceNow, Java, SQL, or Pega platforms.
• Experience managing large-scale code repositories.

Education

BA Degree or equivalent graduate education required.
