Description

Own the reliability, scaling, and observability of enterprise-scale Kubernetes applications across public cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts for high-availability deployments.
• Configure and manage APM and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics to ensure system health.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and AWS CloudFormation to standardize cloud compliance.
• Analyze application logs and errors to drive incident resolution and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and meet SLO/SLA targets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of enterprise-level DevOps experience.
• 3+ years with AWS or Azure.
• 2+ years with Kubernetes administration.
• Deep expertise in Helm chart development.
• Proficiency in APM tools: Datadog APM, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP) and application protocols (SOAP, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON, JDBC).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting platforms like Splunk.
• Ability to code in Java, Python, or Shell scripting for automation.

Preferred Skills

• AWS SysOps Associate or DevOps Professional certification (or equivalent).
• Experience with site reliability engineering for Java and Postgres database platforms.
