Description

You will manage large-scale distributed systems and maintain Kubernetes cluster operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate Kubernetes clusters, troubleshooting pod-related issues.
• Resolve on-call incidents, escalations, and performance issues through documentation and debugging.
• Troubleshoot microservices and inter-service communication within distributed environments.
• Manage message queues and monitor SLIs/SLOs to ensure system reliability.
• Perform Linux system troubleshooting involving file systems, memory management, and process management.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
• Strong Linux system knowledge, including networking and performance troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python or Go-Lang and Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes operations and maintenance.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message queue technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and ElasticSearch.
• Ability to debug at the file system and process level.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in an on-call rotation.
• Understanding of SLI/SLO implementation in production environments.
