Description

You will manage software builds, deployments, and production releases within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute software builds and automate deployments for new applications using custom build scripts.
• Manage AWS cloud adoption initiatives and migrate existing applications to AWS.
• Automate repetitive tasks including system builds, configuration, and application installation processes.
• Implement standards, processes, and controls for release and deployment activities.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to maintain application environments and manage issue escalations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Configuration, or Release Management roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments and infrastructure setup.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and AWS Code-Pipeline for continuous integration.
• Experience with build tools including Maven, Ant, and Gradle.
• Strong shell scripting skills and experience working in Unix environments.
• Familiarity with artifact repository tools such as Git, SVN, or Nexus.
• Ability to author implementation/backout plans and technical best practice documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
