Description

You will manage infrastructure automation and configuration management using Chef on AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Create new Chef cookbooks for Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Develop cookbooks for application deployment, including MS SQL and MongoDB.
• Maintain existing Chef recipes by updating them for the latest software releases and patches.
• Manage Chef Automate software on AWS EC2, including performing necessary upgrades.
• Remediate Chef-related trouble tickets and manage disaster recovery (DR) processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Expertise in Chef cookbook creation for both Windows and Linux.
• Experience with automated cookbook testing.
• Hands-on experience deploying MS SQL and MongoDB via Chef.
• Proficiency with AWS, specifically managing software on EC2.
• Experience maintaining Chef Automate software.
• Ability to manage and initiate Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations.
• Any Graduate degree.
