Description

You will manage on-premise Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform infrastructure and lead DevOps operations.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in BareMetal and VMware environments, ensuring node management and high availability.
• Administer OpenShift services including Operators, OpenShift Data Foundation, Pipelines, Image Registry, and Serverless.
• Manage stateful workloads by configuring OpenShift Container Storage (OCS) and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage classes and persistent volumes.
• Operate on-premise Elasticsearch clusters, handling index management, cross-cluster replication, snapshots, and troubleshooting shard or node failures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD systems using Jenkins, GitLab, and Helm, while managing repository permissions and branching strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience provisioning and deploying containerized applications via Red Hat OpenShift.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL administration.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab, and Apache/Confluent Kafka.
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration skills.
• Ability to write Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and Dockerfiles.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystem components including Hadoop, YARN, HDFS, HBase, ZooKeeper, Spark, and Hive.
