Description

You will manage DevOps standards, governance, and automated build and release pipelines while mentoring junior staff.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure CI/CD pipelines, including approvals, delivery plans, boards, and secure service connections.
• Design build pipelines to prevent unapproved code from reaching production environments.
• Implement security measures to protect data and code repositories, including encryption and access control.
• Develop and maintain naming standards and conventions for Azure resources.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and IT staff on industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in technical roles with a focus on designing, developing, and supporting databases.
• Proven experience in data engineering, data management, or DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Working knowledge of data orchestration tools and frameworks such as Apache Airflow.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building pipelines to facilitate the containerization process.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
