Description

Technically lead a global team of Site Reliability Engineers to build and maintain scalable cloud-native backend systems and services.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, workflows, and Jenkins.
• Develop new Terraform modules and automate application deployment using Ansible.
• Lead the team in adopting reliability engineering practices such as error budgets, blameless retrospectives, and chaos engineering.
• Manage critical escalations, incident response, and disaster recovery service development.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technical and people management.
• Proven history of supporting applications, services, and infrastructure in production environments.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Containerization experience, including platform deployment and service maintenance.
• Experience with SaaS monitoring tools such as Datadog, SumoLogic, PagerDuty, ELK, InfluxDB, or Grafana.
• Expertise in capacity planning and cost optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, and Packer.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools including Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Gradle.
