Description

You will design and maintain high-volume DevOps infrastructure for enterprise Java applications, with a preference for the financial domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Containerize enterprise Java applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Gradle, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, and Nexus.
• Administer Linux/Unix environments and automate operations with Python and Shell scripting.
• Manage infrastructure configuration and deployment using Puppet or Chef.
• Monitor system health and performance using tools like Zabbix, CloudWatch, or Nagios.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with Java Virtual Machines, Apache Tomcat, and Nginx.
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Maven, Gradle, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Scripting skills in Python and Shell.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial domain.
• Knowledge of networking and information security best practices.
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms.
