Description

You will own the technology stack to ensure service availability through proactive monitoring and stability improvements. You will manage incidents within high-pressure environments and build relationships with downstream consumers for seamless delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technology stack to maintain expected service levels for clients.
• Monitor proactive system alerts to identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot application issues and manage incidents under pressure.
• Improve production plants and system stability through continuous technical improvements.
• Build relationships with downstream consumers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Skills

• 1 to 5 years of practical experience in production support or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Shell Scripting, Python, Perl, or JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases: Sybase, DB2, SQL, or Postgres.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting application issues and managing incidents.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Grafana.
• Strong communication skills for managing high-pressure environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an engineering field.
• Prior experience in the financial industry.
• Familiarity with SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, postmortems) and ITIL/Agile.
