Description

Manage, maintain, and optimize Mailman and Postfix applications to ensure reliable email delivery on Linux servers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Mailman and Postfix on RedHat and Ubuntu systems.
• Monitor system operations to address performance or reliability issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve email delivery or system problems in collaboration with teams.
• Perform regular system backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Mailman and Postfix installation and management.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, specifically RedHat and Ubuntu.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Command-line administration expertise.
• Working knowledge of email protocols including SMTP, POP3, and IMAP.
• Two years of professional experience in a similar role.
