Description

You will focus on cloud-based performance engineering and code conversion within an AWS environment. You will own the translation of existing Java codebases into Python and engineer tests to produce detailed performance results. You will develop programs to multiply transactional activity and monitor cloud-based systems using SignalFx, LogicMonitor, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong AWS cloud engineering skills.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with Java to Python code conversion.
• Background in performance testing using open source tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience with Perl or PowerShell scripting.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work on-site in Chicago 3x a week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test automation.
• Familiarity with SignalFx for real-time monitoring.
