Description

You will focus on cloud-based performance engineering and code conversion within an AWS environment, owning the translation of Java codebases into Python and engineering tests for detailed performance results.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert existing Java code into Python.
• Engineer tests and produce detailed performance results.
• Develop programs to multiply transactional activity.
• Monitor cloud-based systems using SignalFx, LogicMonitor, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong AWS cloud engineering skills.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with Java to Python code conversion.
• Background in performance testing using open source tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience with Perl or PowerShell scripting.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test automation.
• Familiarity with SignalFx for real-time monitoring.
