Description

Manage and optimize large-scale Oracle database environments within a DevOps framework.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute Oracle database upgrades and migrations to the latest supported versions.
• Manage and support Oracle databases on ASM and Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Perform database tuning using Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack, and Automatic Workload Repository (AWR).
• Write and tune PL/SQL objects, triggers, and materialized views.
• Maintain database security through auditing facilities and RMAN backup strategies.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as a Database Administrator focusing on Oracle 12c or above.
• 5+ years of expert experience supporting databases on Red Hat Linux 7.x or higher.
• 5+ years of expertise in Unix shell scripting.
• 5+ years of experience managing databases with a minimum size of 10 TB.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle RAC (12c or higher) and ASM.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft (Financials).
• 4+ years of experience in VMWare and Cohesity environments.
• Oracle 11g or higher Certified Professional certification.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting government retirement and benefits database systems.
