Own the stability, performance, and automation of IBM webMethods integration environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain integrations using IBM webMethods components including IS, Broker/UM, MWS, TN, and API Gateway.
• Build reusable services, pipelines, and canonical models while handling complex B2B, API, and EDI scenarios.
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to ensure production stability and availability.
• Lead incident management, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Automate deployments and configuration management using CI/CD pipelines and support containerization strategies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with IBM webMethods Integration Server (IS), Universal Messaging, Trading Networks, and MWS.
• Strong proficiency in Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring and performance tuning.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Deep understanding of SRE principles including high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Proven track record in performance engineering to optimize for high throughput and low latency.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with webMethods.io or API Gateway.
• Background in proactive monitoring and reducing operational toil through automation.
