Description

Design, automate, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and production systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug codebases to solve complex problems related to connected vehicle technology and telematics.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases while performing peer reviews on code changes.
• Mentor team members on security disciplines to improve the overall security posture.
• Integrate new technologies, tools, and processes into the existing workflow.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 2-3+ years in an architecture environment.
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment and debugging.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, specifically Git/Argo or GitLab CI and Argo CD.
• Scripting experience using Bash/Shell and Python.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Experience with source control, continuous integration, and SecDevOps practices like SONAR.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
