Description

Lead the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production systems while mentoring technical teams on security and design standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the deployment, automation, and management of AWS production systems to ensure availability, performance, and scalability.
• Design and communicate complex technical solutions, creating architecture documents and technical artifacts.
• Mentor engineering teams on security disciplines, code quality, and the reuse of enterprise patterns.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across various application domains and codebase platforms.
• Partner with application teams as a trusted advisor to ensure adoption of SecDevOps standards and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Information Technology with 2-3+ years in an architecture environment.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes deployment and debugging.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git/Argo or GitLab CI and Argo CD.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash/Shell.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and using JIRA.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, App Dynamics, or ELK.
• Knowledge of Go, Javascript, YAML, and JSON.
