Description

You will lead OpenShift platform operations and manage large-scale infrastructure projects across on-prem and Azure cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute cluster rebuilds, expansions, and migrations using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Automate cluster provisioning, scaling, and updates while developing CI/CD pipelines for platform teams.
• Monitor cluster health, capacity, and performance, implementing RBAC and encryption security practices.
• Manage production release readiness, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide technical leadership for BuildMaster maintenance and support container-based solutions like GitHub ARC.

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience in research, analysis, problem solving, and technical documentation.
• 7+ years installing, administering, and creating BuildMaster workflows.
• 7+ years experience in public sector or compliance-heavy environments (NIST, DoD, PCI-DSS).
• 5+ years using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• 5+ years designing production-grade monitoring and alerting systems.
• 5+ years managing production release readiness and incident response.
• 3+ years leading infrastructure projects and providing Azure cloud consultancy.
• 3+ years with networking tools including DNS, trace routes, and load balancing.
• 3+ years hands-on experience architecting and managing on-prem Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• 2+ years architecting and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• 2+ years with security principles including secrets management and least privilege.
• Proficiency with command line interfaces for command execution and file system traversal.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years experience in public sector environments or cloud operations and platform engineering.
• 2+ years experience with disaster recovery testing.
