Key Responsibilities

The DevOps Specialist will support the delivery and operation of modern digital services, with responsibility for automation, production operations, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure, and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create scripts, tools, and procedures to automate deployment, maintenance, and operational activities.
• Support low-downtime and automated deployments.
• Manage configuration and credentials for production environments.
• Plan and manage production maintenance activities.
• Support database upgrades, migrations, backups, and recovery activities.
• Create reusable deployment templates and patterns.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate development and testing environment setup.
• Create monitoring, telemetry, and observability tooling.
• Support application teams with:
  • Integration testing
  • Security scanning
  • System testing
  • Performance testing
  • Load testing
• Support Alpha/Beta and limited-production releases.
• Identify manual processes and replace them through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Work collaboratively with product owners, developers, QA, security teams, and other project stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• Azure / hybrid-cloud exposure preferred

Minimum required cloud experience: 3+ years.

Scripting & Automation

• PowerShell

PowerShell: 4+ years
Command Line: 4+ years.

DevOps / CI-CD

• CI/CD pipeline design and support

Infrastructure as Code

• Terraform
• Infrastructure provisioning
• Environment automation

Containers / Hybrid Cloud

Security

• Secrets management
• Credential management
• Basic infrastructure and application security
• Secure production environment management

Minimum security-awareness experience: 3+ years.

Networking

• DNS
• Traceroute
• Load balancing
• Basic troubleshooting of networking issues

Remote Administration

• SSH clients
• Remote Desktop
• Remote access and environment troubleshooting

Minimum required experience: 3+ years.

AI / GenAI

• Generative AI tools
• Agentic AI tooling
• Using GenAI to produce executive-grade documentation, analysis, or automation outputs

Required exposure: 2+ years.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• 2+ years as a DevOps Specialist supporting continuous delivery of custom-built applications
• 2+ years designing/deploying Hybrid Cloud applications using Red Hat OpenShift
• 2+ years with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• 3+ years with Visual Studio / VS Code
• 3+ years working with CI/CD pipelines in large enterprise environments

Minimum research/analysis/problem-solving experience: 3 years.

Project-Specific Submission Requirement

Each candidate must provide at least two DevOps project examples.

The examples should be added at the bottom of the resume and should clearly explain:

1. Project overview and DevOps responsibilities.
2. Industry/sector supported.
3. Approximate user count and team size.
4. Specific technologies and tools used.
5. Experience supporting continuous delivery of custom-built solutions.
6. Hybrid Cloud / Red Hat OpenShift experience.
7. GitHub Actions usage.
8. Terraform/IaC experience.
9. Direct CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience
