You will manage and scale runtime environments through automation and continuous platform improvement.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation to manage Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, and database instances at scale.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, databases, storage, and networking to resolve performance and security issues.
• Collaborate with developers to containerize applications and deploy them following scalability and availability best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents, and conduct post-incident reviews to implement preventive measures.
• Recommend platform improvements by staying current with Kubernetes, storage, and networking trends.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Kubernetes Platform Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, components, and operational best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS and Helm.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience integrating Kubernetes with AWS services like Secrets Manager and Load Balancers.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts within Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• CKA or CKAD certifications.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Experience with GCP, Azure, AWS CloudFormation, ECS, or Lambda.
