Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of VMware-based infrastructure for .NET web applications and MS SQL Server clusters.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the enterprise-wide Terraform codebase architecture and its core components.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) processes using Terraform and Ansible.
• Architect high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability strategies for all applications and databases.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to govern day-to-day infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with cloud service providers, development, and database teams to meet security and performance standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 6 years focused on VMware environments.
• Expertise in VMware Cloud Director, vSphere, and NSX.
• Deep proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for IaC and CaC.
• Proven experience integrating IaC/CaC processes with Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of network, storage, and virtualization principles.
• Experience designing fault-tolerant infrastructure for Microsoft platforms.
• Ability to define SOPs, access control policies, and security controls for IaC/CaC practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP) or Microsoft certifications (MCSE).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
