Description

• Partner with Product Owners, Business SME, and Dev leads to defining testing solutions for complex business use cases that align with target state architecture and conform to corporate standard processes.

• Apply strong business knowledge and understanding of business objectives when designing and selecting optimal test approaches.

• Serve as a cross-functional team member; analyzes requirements, writes, and executes automated tests.

• Train, mentor, and provide thought leadership to junior and mid-level testers. Test Development & Execution

• Work within a product team demonstrating the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

• Analyze business requirements and user stories to develop comprehensive E2E and integration test scenarios and corresponding test data.

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright and other modern frameworks.

• Assess opportunities for test process improvements, optimizations, and performance tuning.

• Produce high quality test artifacts covering all aspects of sound test architecture.

• Develop and execute tests within a Cloud-based architecture - Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Goldfield. DevOps

• Adopt and enhance the CI/CD process within the team, ensuring automated tests are integrated and executed as part of the pipeline.

Qualifications for SEC:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with Major in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing; specialized training or certification in automation testing tools and frameworks.

• Experience in designing and developing E2E and integration test scenarios based on business requirements.

• Strong knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, and other test automation frameworks.

• Experience/Knowledge of MongoDB, DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL Databases, and test data management.

• High level of exposure to front-end UI testing frameworks like Angular and REACT JS is a plus.

• Experience with REST-based Web services and API testing.

• Strong SQL skills are a must for test data creation and validation.

• Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber/Specflow, Atlassian Suite (Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket), Git.

• DBs: DB2, PostgreSQL. • Cloud: AWS. • Knowledge or experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

• Knowledge in code delivery pipelines and adept in building Build and Deployment tools using Maven, Gradle, ANSIBLE, and Jenkins.

• Experience working in Scaled Agile, Modern Delivery experience is a plus.

• Significant contributor to the team, whose test code follows latest testing practices and Freddie Mac standards.

• Author, writing unit, integration, and functional automation tests.

• Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.

• Takes the lead on ensuring that test scripts and frameworks are of high quality; constantly challenges ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.

• Demonstrates innovation when developing and designing test logic.

• Demonstrates a collaborative approach while working with others to build test logic and backend testing systems
