Description

You will own the stability and automation of the Kubernetes infrastructure, focusing on deep networking troubleshooting and AI-enhanced operational tooling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues involving Istio service mesh, Flannel CNI, kube-proxy, and CoreDNS performance.
• Build and deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect infrastructure APIs to AI assistants.
• Develop custom MCP servers for Kubernetes API access, log querying, and metrics retrieval.
• Create intelligent automation agents for automated log analysis, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
• Deploy operational AI assistants that integrate with GitLab, Jira, Slack, and PagerDuty for incident orchestration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes networking, including service mesh (Istio), CNI plugins (Flannel), and DNS (CoreDNS).
• Proficiency in packet analysis using tcpdump and Wireshark.
• Experience with distributed tracing tools like Jaeger.
• Hands-on experience building Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and AI integration layers.
• Strong familiarity with Prometheus and Elasticsearch for metrics and log management.
• Practical knowledge of GitLab and Jira for CI/CD and issue tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience debugging sidecar injection, mTLS, and Envoy proxy configurations.
• Familiarity with connecting LLMs to infrastructure for real-time diagnostics.
