Description

You will engineer systems to ensure production stability and operational efficiency.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Automate operational tasks, including deployment and configuration, to reduce error rates.
• Develop and manage monitoring tools for system health, performance, and capacity via logging and dashboards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical production issues and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Optimize system scalability, security, and performance through design reviews and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement reliability practices, defining and maintaining SLOs and SLIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or SRE roles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or Shell Scripting.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP or Azure.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with Reliability Patterns.
